It is better than replacement because the wood will not rot again. Primary uses for the EndRot™ system are to repair damaged millwork such as window sills, fascia boards, laminated wood columns, wood beams, wood poles & posts, and wood pilings. By treating the wood with the enclosed borate based wood preservatives, the fungal decay is stopped in its tracks and the wood becomes inhospitable for future growth. Auto body fillers and other wood patches don't bond well to wood, shrink when they dry, or get brittle with age. Other liquid epoxies are mostly solvents and merely provide a thin coating of epoxy on the
surface.
